OK, so politics might well have a place in some recall efforts

Politics, Kaechele said, have “nothing to do with what we’re doing, in terms of proving Sheriff Daryl Anderson incompetent. There’s no relationship there. The petition stands on its own. Anderson’s incompetent. Period.”

However, that doesn’t exclude sound reasons, as often we find our reasoning to be different and viewed upon a “political” set of beliefs.  The group has had its petitions denied by officials, but will continue with a renewed effort.

The Lincoln County Recall Effort’s Main webpage exhibits the language and reasoning for its recall of Sheriff Anderson.  Equal application of the law is quite important, and if the manner in which law enforcement APPLIES law is inconsistent with the manner that it is written, the efforts to remove said law enforcement is legitimate.
