The mailing list is alive and active.
We now have people in several states who have signed up and several more who have not confirmed.
What the list is:
- A way for members to reach out for help in recall and targeted rally campaigns with contact information etc..
- A quick message board of lessons learned to help others avoid problems
- A means to quickly respond for signature gathering
- A way to find out which politicians are being targeted
What the list is NOT:
- A discussion board – though some replies may be necessary for clarification
- A forum to promote new candidates in place of those we are attempting to remove.

There are reasons to recall your elected official. And there are as many opinions about the level of broken trust required to instigate recall as there are politicians. So where do we jump off? Gross negligence or simply poor planning in has led to many governments finding little more than a lump of coal and bad roads in our current economic state. State and Local governments are not immune to the rapid spending while the coffers are full, and unfortunately almost ALWAYS resort to the same tactic to fill them back up with higher taxes.
In Grosse Point Shores:
Dr. Robert Lee, a former candidate for what was then the Shores Village Council, is leading a charge against Mayor James Cooper and Shores City Council members Vicki Boyce, Robert Graziani, Brian Hunt and Fred Minturn. The recall effort comes in the wake of a 1-mill tax increase — approved in a split council decision June 16.
Higher taxes in Michigan? Nah it would never happen..
Some folks don’t get it. Higher taxes merely lead to higher taxes. So its time to go! Dr. Lee, has a goal of removing five members by recall.. Now thats a tall effort pardners… How about a hand or two for his posse? The link to his recall site is on the side.

Because this is to be a national effort of Recall Posse activities, we will be working on a new design that allows the individual state organizers a quicker access to their group forums. Ideas invited.
